Loads of parking.
Great biscuits in the room.
Dislikes:
The wi-fi didn't work in my room, last time I stayed at the Elphinstone I had the same problem. Chair in the room had a wonky leg and the loo seat was loose.

"Glad I did not bring a cat"
I have stayed in hotel rooms of all shapes and sizes, but none a small as this since the days 30 years ago when 'single rooms' were double the price and broom-cupboard size. Described as "comfortable Double En-suite" this room had a small double bed with barely enough room on either side between it and the wall. Lying in bed, you view took in both walls which, like and old black-and-white film, seemed to be closing in on each other and about to crush you.
Never again! Read less

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Dislikes:
I will be much more careful in future about small hotels that describe a room as "comfortable Double En-suite".

The food was tremendous - no other word for it!
Dislikes:
The room (Room 6) was too noisy; loud laughter and shouting from the beer "garden" - a first floor patio - until nearly midnight on Saturday meant a really poor night's sleep.
