"Relaxing, comfortable, remarkably central, and very friendly, we had a great time."
We stayed 3 nights in the family room, it was spacious and comfortable, with on suite facilities. We slept well, and the whole of the Hotel was clean and tidy.

The owners were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good, with a good selection.
The hotel is situated in a perfect central position for the Hoe, Barbican, Shopping, Clubs and Restaurants.
The off road Parking allowed us to park up on arrival and walk to any of the above destinations in minutes.

I arrived for a local event which tied up with my son finishing at the local University. He would turn up periodically to leave objects of 'value' in reception and fill up my car! He was very impressed by the welcome he was given. Nothing was to much trouble, everything was put away securely until I returned. The co-operation of the staff and proprietors made my stay a lot more relaxing and enjoyable than I had anticipated. Read less

We also tried out the refurbished bar which is very nice. Read less

Everything - the hotel is clean and well presented, the owners are friendly, helpful and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are always exceptional.
Dislikes:
I can honestly say that there is nothing that has ever put me off of staying, or returning to, The Drake.
