we live in the countryside so maybe a bit noisy. Heard almost every chime of the clock!

Modern room and toilet facilities. First class evening meal at a reasonable price. Service was slow but food was worth waiting for.
Dislikes:
The total silence in our room was spoilt by an intermittent clicking noise from a bedside radiator. Car parking is free but in a public parking lot 60yds behind the hotel - this was quite hard to find

The room was stunning...a mix of cottagie with exposed beams & a very modern bathroom & furniture!
Dislikes:
The only thing we found a problem with was the fact we couldnt get a taxi...not the fault of the b&b.

Historic inn, really nice staff.
Dislikes:
Disappointed that restaurant was closed, but obviously chef needed a break after Christmas & New Year.

Convenient, clean, good food and very helpful staff.
Dislikes:
If we were staying any longer, the room would need to be a little bigger but other than this, no problems.

Everything - lovely, very clean, well equiped rooms, food delicious & much better than most restaurants. Excellent friendly staff very realxing and comfortable. Perfect!

Arrived about 2.30pm, had booked super king size and they had me in for a double, but whilst they sorted that out provided me with a nice pot of tea. Very friendly, some noise from across the road until 1.00am on the Friday night (The Black Bull pub) but other than that very quiet and a good bed. Lots of hot water and a good size shower cubicle and shower set off a nice stay, along with a very tasty breakfast. To be recommended and I will be booking it again. Read less

Nice location and pub/restaurant below good. Nice bathroom and power shower
Dislikes:
Room didn't have a TV and decor a little dated. Not willing to accommodate an early breakfast
