The room was comfortable and clean and plenty spacious for me and the wife .
Dislikes:
The problem getting in after the pub had closed which im sure was an oversight.

All guests are informed that the gate is stiff it was not locked there is a need to flip the bar and push open, the gates are stiff due to the design and size of the gates, the gates have been adjusted twice but the stiffness returns within a week or two, there fore there was no need to climb over just a misunderstanding darre

Not having to get up early and drive to Bentham for 10.30. In different circumstances would happily have stayed longer.

We stopped off in High Bentham as part of our cycling tour. We were not disappointed in any way with the quality of the room, bar area etc. However, the fact that it was a Saturday night meant that we probably should have booked a table in the restaurant when we booked the room as they were quite busy, although there was a lot of confusion over table bookings with people not turning up. Nevertheless we had an excellent meal. Read less

Everything - beautifully decorated/finished room with very comfy bed. Lovely bathroom. Restaurant and bar areas really comfortable and the food superb.
Dislikes:
Sadly the noise from the pub opposite (we think) went on to 2.30 am so even though our room was very comfortable our sleep was poor. Is this just a Saturday night thing? Not the Coach Houses fault.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, and yes it is always adviable to book especially on a saturday night as we do get full fairly quickly, the noise disturbance which you experienced, is not every saturday night however we do apologise, but there is not alot we can do about it from time to time, we hope to see you again soon and thankyou for your input,

We enjoyed the time we spent in the bar. It was cosy and had a lovely friendly atmosphere. Later we ate in the restaurant. The meal and the service were both good and very reasonably priced.
Dislikes:
For lighter sleepers the church clock was a bit irritating but I appreciate there is nothing you can do about it! Parts of bathroom could have been bit cleaner
