great views around the house very warm and friendly and every thing you needed in the room hot running water at all times.
Dislikes:
we were not happy with having to get up so early for breakfast as it was a weekend break and we wanted to relax a bit and it would be good if the times were staggered up to around 9.30am.

Our style of home, friendly approach and a welcoming cream tea on arrival was just what was needed after a long drive.
Dislikes:
The need to walk outside from the rooms to the dining room was not ideal and would be especially unpleasant in inclement weather

Thank you for your review Barry; however we are disappointed by your scoring which does not reflect your words (and kiss!) on departure.
Your comments regarding the dining room location and access are understood, regretfully our hands are tied as this is due to the Food Standards Agency insistence and we cannot change the structure of the building.

The owners were fantastic,welcoming,friendly,breakfast was great,good quality locally sourced food. The room (Foxglove) was large,the bathroom was also large, the standard of cleanliness was excellant

The lovely setting of the farmhouse makes you feel miles away from everything. We stayed in the Fern Room. At night, we did not even bother to draw the curtains. A very clean and neat room.

The hotel is in a lovely peacefull setting with just a few guests. There's lots of information for Devon and Cornwall and is well situated for touring the area. Everything is well organised.
Dislikes:
We have no complaints at all.
