Buckingham House has a gravel driveway. There are two steps into the conservatory entrance and a further step into the hallway.

Description

A warm welcome from the owner ensures you feel at home and your stay is comfortable. Each ensuite room is individually decorated, helping to maintain the character of the house. This 4 Star Graded (Silver) elegant Victorian building was built in 1880, and maintains many of its original features.

The dining room overlooks the rear garden. The original bottle glass windows remain. Local food is sourced for home cooked recipes. So whether it's the famous Buckingham House breakfast with Aga cooked oatmeal, home made marmalade and jams or farm-fresh eggs served on a bed of straw, attention to detail is where we begin. There is a choice - Why not treat yourself to a traditional Victorian Breakfast?

Buckingham House is superbly located, just ten - fifteen minutes walk along the River Dee to the ancient Walled Town Centre and Chester Cathedral - St. Werburg and St. John the Baptiste - Chester's original cathedral. It is also only a step away to the historic 16th Century Chester Race Course and all the major attractions.

Escape for a few days. Buckingham House is the perfect place to "switch off", enabling visitors to spend a day visiting Liverpool Water Front or North Wales. There is easy access to both places using British Rail or the Mersey Ferries, which are fun and relaxing. Why not visit Chester Zoo or Chester Cathedral ? Or perhaps accommodation for a wedding?
