You will receive a warm welcome from Marlene and John and they strive to offer the best quality stay experience, with clean comfortable rooms, locally sourced food. the breakfast eggs have very low food miles. They come from hens at the bottom of the garden
What to do in Walton? First and foremost is the Blue Flag Beach (2013), Golden sands gently sloping, which makes for safe swimming. Toward the Naze Tower end at low tide there are rock pools for children to explore.
Various water sports are available around the area. Wind surfing, Kite surfing, Sailing and Fishing. In the summer there is a boat trip available on most tides to see the wild life on Hamford Water, Seals and many varieties of sea birds inhabit these waters. In autumn and spring migratory birds come and go.
If walking is your thing then the Naze point makes a great walk, on the way round you will experience the vastness of the North Sea from the small cliff tops, going on to overlook Hamford Waters and then back to the Bucket and Spade for tea.
