Everything,but walking up scafell pike from wasdale head (10 mins away) was a highlight.

Nice and peaceful with a very friendly atmosphere and what made it even more perfect was the weather was absolutly lovely and the breakfast was great.
Dislikes:
The central heating in the room was rather noisy at times.

The peace, the friendliness, the location. The fact that we felt so at home; it didn't feel like a hotel, it was so comfortable and easy and relaxing.

only one minor thing i would say was the radiator wasnt switched on when we arrived so the room was cold apart from that everything was excellent.

We wanted to have a couple of nights away post Christmas just to relax and unwind. We have eaten but not stayed at The Bridge Inn in the past and everytime my boyfriend has stayed we wanted to try the real ales to go along with his meal. So this time we decided to stay as well as eat. We stayed in a twin room which was very pleasant and very warm. The whole stay was lovely. Read less

We loved being about to relax. The location is great being near Wastwater and Eskdale.
The food is amazing, we had evening meal both nights each having a different meal the veggie options were lovely
