We stayed for two nights and left refreshed and encouraged that this sort of service still exists. The house was on a main road, within walking distance of the town centre, but set back enough to allow a very quiet night's sleep. The off-road car parking was good. The facilities were excellent. The food was plentiful, local, organic, fresh and superbly cooked. The hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Read less

A wonderful 3-night stay at Bramlies began with a friendly welcome by Adie and good advice on where to eat (the Poet Laureate, a short walk away). My comfotable garden room was a peaceful and inviting place to return to at the end of a busy day and was well equipped with freeview TV, tea, coffee and biscuits, toiletries, hairdryer and plenty of space. And top it off, Sue's breakfast was worth looking forward to every day! Fresh produce and a great selection. Read less

Sue made us feel very welcome and did everything she could to help in a difficult situation. The garden room was just right for my mother being on one level. and I could sleep in a separate room.
Dislikes:
The only drawback to the garden room was I had to go through the other bedroom at night to use the toilet.

The owner was very welcoming and the room (lilly pad) is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. An added bonus is that this room is completely separate from the main house giving added privacy.

Friendliness of Sue-nothing too much trouble. Breakfast delicious and plenty of it. Convenient to Dorchester town centre. Off road car parking. Would definitely return if going back to this area.
