We were made very welcome our room was ready early which was a godsend. The bed was very comfortable. We were never rushed to leave the following morning.

We were visiting family and chose Hamiltonns from the internet. We were very pleased. We stayed in Nelson's Lookout which was really light and airy, though did have a steep staircaise up to it, which was not a problem to us but could be to less mobile people. Lovely shower with lots of functions. Nice touch having biscuits provided in the room both days. Read less

I could not stay on the first night of my booking because my room had been taken by someone else. This is due to inadequate checking of who arrivals are before putting them in the room. The person in my room didn't actually have a booking until the following week.
They arranged alternative accommodation in the B&B next door. Not quite as nice. Read less

Rooms are a good size, nicely decorated and comfortable.
Dislikes:
First night problems above.
Some noticable cobwebs and flies in the room.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed staying at this hotel as our room was very cosy and it was lovely to return to it to chill for a couple of hours after a day out. Then we went out for dinner each night and returned to a very good night's sleep in our room. Breakfast each morning did not fail to impress. Well presented and good quality. Read less

We really enjoyed our whole stay....the breakfast was excellent and friendliness of the staff made it stand out from other hotels. Very clean room and bathroom was re-cleaned daily, towels replaced.
Dislikes:
The room did seem very small to how it looked in photo, however, we found it very cosy and comfortable once we got used to it. Therefore, it was not at all an issue.
