Very dog friendly allowing your dog to be in the bar area. Easy access (5 min walk)to a country park for dog walking.

Lovely countryside, staff very friendly and helpful. I liked the ambiance of the hotel and food portions were generous. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.

The decor and atmosphere of the pub, the friendly staff and locals.
Dislikes:
The cost of some of the food was inflated for what you received. i.e. the deep fried egg starter and the cheesboard

The pub was very friendly and very busy with very varied customers. The food was excellent so this was the reason for the numbers.
Dislikes:
Thought the rooms could be more comfortable and friendly but perhaps we had a dark room.

arrived soaking wet and muddy, but the Black Horse had the space and facilities to dry out. It also served a good selection of food.
