Its in a nice quiet village, Its a very nice bar with a nice large beer garden to the back. But the best thing is the friendliness of the landlord and his staff.
Dislikes:
Unfortunately I had to pay full twin room rate even though it was just for one person. I realise that in peak time you probably have to do this anyway but it was still too expensive as a result.

We were visiting friends in Devizes and this is the only place that had a vacancy. However, this was such good luck. On arrival we were met by the owner who showed us to the room. She was so friendly and went out of her way to make us welcome. The room was very clean with nice views over the gardens. We eat in the first night and the food was excellent. There is a god variety of local and guest ales served in the bar with really good atmosphere. As said the food is excellent and terrific value. Read less

Good clean rooms. Very tasty food. Friendly staff but the best part is the Owner/Chef is a Liverpool supporter with all that good humour!!
Dislikes:
Too much food on the plates!
