family room did not have its own bathroom/toilet had to share with other rooms cleaning could have been better we found rubbish left in room bin plastic fork bettween sofa cushi

I am disappointed that this couple did not enjoy their stay. But they did not mention that they were unhappy whilst they were here. The family room they chose and booked is clearly described as having seperate, private bathroom facilities. It does not share with any other guests. I could have moved them to an ensuite room had they asked. My apologies if the bin hadn't been emptied, I miss things sometimes. People, speak up if there is a problem and then it can be retified straight away.

The house was located in a very quiet area of Torquay but a good walking distance to all the attractions. The room was very clean and the choice for breakfast was awesome ranging from pancakes to the full English! Would definitely recommend and visit again--maybe next time we'll bring a dog as it is also a dog friendly B&B! Read less

Nice clean rooms, lovely welcome, great breakfasts, also good recommendations on where to visit (ample amount of pamphlets and maps supplied if required).
Dislikes:
Because there are a few rooms in the house there are times when the water in the electric shower would not warm up as everyone was using it at the same time.

B & B is on a quiet residential st (perfect). Room, bed & pillows (v important to me) were very comfortable. Dawn the owner was welcoming and our little dachshund loved her. Great choice for b/fast.

My partner, myself and our dog 'Dizzy' have just returned from a 3 night stay at Ashleigh House....for business and leisure... it was an absolute delight... very clean, warm and welcoming great room and super location for walking and Dawn and her husbands's hospitality and amazing breakfasts were a delight... we usually camp but these was truly a 5 star stay we were so comfortable and made so welcome we didn't want to leave...
