We stayed for 2 nights, the room was quite small due to the sloping ceiling which made moving around the room a little difficult as we had to take it in turns to walk around the bed. Spent considerable time out visiting friends therefore the room size was not such a problem. The tv in the room did not work and when we complained about it we were told there was no signal due to the weather which might have been a plausable excuse if hadn't been a lovely clear sunny day with a light breeze. The location was beautiful overlooking the hills. The food was nice but a limited menu.
Dislikes:
Tv not working then being given an unbelieveable excuse. Problem never rectified. Drinks in bar very pricey compared to other pubs in the area.

"poor quality for high price"
The "room with a view of the valley" was of three dustbins. The food was over priced and service was very slow for a very empty bar.

The "room with a view of the valley" was of three dustbins. The food was over priced and service was very slow for a very empty bar.
The beds were uncomfortable and the service and breakfast in the morning (even down to the child bacon, instant coffee and miserable waitress) weren't worth paying for.
I stay in a lot of hotels and B&B's and this is my first ever poor rating.
I wouldn't recommend it, obviously
The scenery around the bar is stunning, and some of the villages are a delight. Read less
