Good sized, beautifully clean room with everything you could wish for in a bed and breakfast. Lovely touch with the homemade shortbread and daffodils in our room when we arrived.

Really pleased you enjoyed your stay and sorry it was such a cold weekend. We have had a look at the possibility of having double glazing including secondary but as Waterloo Place is a grade 2 listed building for various reasons it is not possible. However, we are looking at having larger radiators fitted into room 4. Once again many thanks.

We were made welcome from the moment we arrived. This continued the next morning with a really first class breakfast and fine service.

The bedrooms were very comfortable & little extras like 'good quality' tea bags & biscuits were noticed & appreciated.
The bed linen & breakfast table linen were of a high quality & the general professionalism,attitude & friendliness of Jim & Denise made the stay extra special.To top it all....breakfast was great! Read less

Absolutely spotless throughout and our en suite room was second to none.Lovely touches like chocolates in the room made us feel really special.Superb location with the beach just across the road.

Lovely clean quiet room with all the necessary facilities, very friendly and helpful proprietors and excellent breakfasts. All you could wish for. Highly recommended.

Denise and Jim were very welcoming and friendly without being over the top. Breakfast was superb!
Dislikes:
The heating seemed to be on at odd times but it was strange autumn weather

Everything! So much thought and care has gone into everything,The room was lovely,we loved the double aspect windows and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was super,really delicious.
Dislikes:
No, so much time and effort has gone into this lovely B&B and it really shows.
Lots of lovely touches,from the shortbread,tea trays, breakfast presentation etc,you could not fault the Alendale at all

The Alendale Guest House was in good location ,the free car parking at the rear of the Alendale was a real bonus ,Jim and Denise were very friendly and helpful,the breakfast was excellent
