Because the window would not seal properly you could clearly hear the conversations of those sitting around the table directly outside our window (Room 1). The duvet cover was stained on the underside, which I didn't notice until we were leaving, and although we had both a top and bottom sheet this really isn't how things should be, if I had seen it sooner I would have asked for a replacement. Very good cold breakfast options.
Easy public transport links to central Edinburgh.
Dislikes:
Noisy room due to the door between the bar and corridor being wedged open and a window in our room which couldn't be shut properly. If a cooked breakfast is offered it needs to be 'hot' not just warm

Our room was very clean spacious with quality furniture comfortable bed, Large Television, excellent shower.
Ted Dot and their staff were friendly and curtious and made us feel very welcome. The lodge is a short bus ride / taxi ride away from Edinburgh city centre, The public transport is very good and runs regulary.
The only Negative was that the resteraunt is not open Sunday & Monday although this gives you the opportunity to visit some of the city centre resteraunts. Read less

The entire stay was exemplary with two wonderful breakfasts. We even took advantage of the honor bar where we poured our own drafts and simply wrote our names on a sheet of paper. We will return.

The B&B is lovely, fantastic rooms, excellent service, convenient location (right on a bus route into town) and a reasonable price. We were greeted at the door (in the pouring down rain), Ted and Dot can not do enough for you. Would definately stay here again. Read less

Great location just 10 minute bus ride from town centre. Bus stop near by and regular buses.
Good choice at breakfast time and super large bed and shower cubicle. Room size good and flat screen TV.
