Dislikes:
was led to believe easy access but there was stairs, and the price was the same as we paid the next night for 4 star hotel with all facilities etc.
Overly expensive would be a fair comment.

Colston Hall was stated to be 10 minutes from Minsmere which was the reason we stayed here. I think it is a bit more than stated but the welcome and atmosphere of this B&B far exceeded this minor detail. The rooms are spotless with large beds and separate en-suite bathrooms. Modernised but with a very old world feel, I would definately recommend staying here. Read less

We stayed for 3 nights whilst attending an event nearby, and explored the area. Framlingham had a superb Saturday market mostly local produce, but also some plants, bric a brac and clothing. We had afternoon tea at Yoxford at an interesting antiques centre with gardens. And fantastic fish and chips at Southwold. Read less

We were in a separate building to the main house, a converted granary, tastefully decorated, and could please ourselves. Places of interest for walking, shopping and birdwatching were all nearby.
Dislikes:
Nothing. We were even lucky with the weather, despite the forecast!

We stayed in the hayloft. A large room full of character but with all the comforts you would expect. It was great to hear lots of birds singing and the baaing of the sheep. A real country break...… Read more

A real country break... but not too far from the sea either. Even the cat greeted us on arrival. Because it was so early in the season there weren't so many people around but that suited us. We were free to come and go as we pleased without any hindrance. Read less

Very pretty and in beautiful countryside. Lovely owners. Very peaceful. Loved being able to make our own toast in the breakfast room. Lovely huge bed. Good shower.
Dislikes:
TV in room was freeview and poor reception. Could not see the TV clearly from the bed (4 poster). Poor views for the most expensive room.

Location of the room, next to the stable door entrance Not sure of the practicalities of having a guest room close to the entrance, woken up early morning and night by the coming and going.
