The Romantic Package is exactly what you would imagine as per the website description. We had breakfast in the morning with a nice choice of cooked breakfast as well as cereal and fruit and a coffee/tea machine. We also brought some of the home made chocolate that is to die for and very reasonably priced. Read less

Everything!! The best thing I liked the most was my chocolate pancake breakfast.
My wife's best bit was the chocolates that were in our room.

My Husband paid for the Romantic package therefore my best bit was the chocolate fountain and champange.... went very well together, and the service was first class, she could do no more to help you..

Nothing.... althoughtif you hate chocolate this is not for you....

I stayed here recently for two nights with my girlfriend. Asked for a chocolate fountain in advance, which was worth the money. We stayed in the Maya, which was a decent size, nice sized shower, light and the radiators where nice and warm - so much we opened the window, but wasn't woken up by any outside noise.
Some communal areas may need a redecoration, but the rooms are well decorated (Maya room).
Enjoyed the chocolate fountain - a worthwhile extra (need more food to dip though)! Read less

Breakfast choices were reasonable - cereals, cooked breakfast and chocolate pancakes!
The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the town, 10 to the pier.
Make sure you check out Cuccini's & Flirt Cafe Ba
Dislikes:
The only problem we had was that it wasn't a true double bed - two twin beds zipped together. After an uncomfortable night, we complained and the staff were excellent and sorted the problem quickly.

Altho a woman alone, I felt quite safe. Happily close to main shopping area + many restaurants offering different cuisine - useful as hotel does breakfast only and no opportunity for evening meal.
Dislikes:
Those with mobility probs should note that hotel is 'up a level' from shops, Main Square & seafront, thus making returning uphill laden with shopping or after busy tourist day a chore. Weather awful!
