Great location,welcoming staff friendly but not invasive.
Lovely grounds peacocks ,chickens wandering around
Large fluffy bath towels.
Would definitely stay again

Comfortable large room with expected facilities. Food at dinner was excellent and could not be faulted. Staff friendly with overall good service.
Dislikes:
The room was a bit on the cold side even with the fan heater provided. Wine good but a bit on the expensive side for what it was.

The room (Garden) was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant food was very good as was the service.
Lounge area is very cosy with fire etc.

Staff were hardly there and on occasions nobody was available to speak with! Seemed to be a case of making your own way which we have never experienced before. Very quiet in a rural setting with occasional traffic. Able to sleep well. Handily placed to visit other places by car.
Dislikes:
no menus to browse. hardly any information of places of interest. bland. Cold room. Single not double radiator. Bathroom very warm unlike room. Extreme condensation on balcony doors.

I found the directions on the web site easy to follow and arrived at the hotel from Bristol airport without any hitches. I was there for some quiet time and found the hotel ideally suited for that. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was to the front of the hotel but although just off the road it was quiet. I had my evening meals in the restaurant and enjoyed both meals very much.
