Dining Options
The Dragon Hotel has a traditional black and white timbered restaurant overlooking the Old Market Square where breakfast and evening meals are served. (Restaurant lunch can also be served, however only by prior arrangement). Bar meals are available every lunch and evening too. The Dragon kitchen has held an AA Rosette for fine food for 10 years, cooking the best of fine local produce.

    It is our intention to be as welcoming as possible to all, within the limitations of a 17th century building located on a fairly steep slope. Our staff are keen to assist all our guests, to help ensure a pleasant and relaxed visit. We have a long term plan to improve access to the building.Entry is via steps at the front of the building on the old Market Square, for which removable ramps are available; there is an entry phone to request assistance on arrival. This grants access to reception, bar, restaurant and residents' lounge.There is also access from the private car park at the rear of the hotel. Ramps are available for the internal steps to gain access to reception, bar, residents lounge and restaurant. There is level access from the car park to the upper part of the split level function room.Bedrooms: All our bedrooms are on 1st or 2nd floor and it is not possible to install a lift or stair lift.
