When we want a short break again we will not use mount Pleasant and will not recommend to any one. B&B operateing a different set of rules than there agent. A very poor service Read less

Privacy respected and no pressure to buy breakfast.
Dislikes:
Breakfast was included when booked, but later came a message that it was not. That was irritating, but understandable as the price was very low.

Peace and quiet.
Good food.
Comfortable beds.
Dislikes:
Unfortunately the heating did not work in our bedroom whilst we were there. This did spoil the first few days of our stay until we were supplied with a portable heater.

Limited time for breakfast - had to order the night before. Another couple (pensioners) made a mistake and booked 3 nights (internet) instead of 2. The owners made them pay full price for all 3 nights

The friendliness of the owners which made our stay a pleasant one. Food was very good.
Dislikes:
Room could have been a bit cleaner, bed linen had marks over then and there was human hair on the beds and in the en-suite.

We had a great few days in this very friendly farmhouse B&B. It is smack on the moor and the location is its greatest asset. We used it as a base for day trips to nearby attractions and, back at the hotel, enjoyed swimming in the slightly heated pool and playing table tennis in the games room. The little conservatory was also ideal for card and board games when the weather beat us down. Read less

The kids weren't thrilled about the breakfasts but they were just being fussy! The weather could have been kinder too!
