Everything (and I'm rarely fulsome in my praise) Staff were all superbly efficient, wonderfully welcoming.
Log fire, superb breakfast - perfect for the relaxing break we were seeking.

We had a very relaxing stay at the Waterman's during the Christmas hols. Every facility at the pub was just as you'd imagine a quality / traditional country pub to be. Everyone there was welcoming and helpful. The relaxing atmosphere and lovely lounging sofas made for a pleasant stay. The 17th century bar, the hub of the pub, is warm with a real fire and a great selection of music. The local area has much to offer, wether you like the coast or countryside, the market town or the big city. Read less

The food is excellent... a bowl of chips is a must! Staff = really good at what they do and are nice to everyone.
Dogs are welcome at the Waterman's and some live there too!

We liked having access to the pub and restaurant, walking from the hotel and the view from the room (Rm 8). The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Dislikes:
We thought that the breakfast service was a little unorganised particularly on the first morning.
Although we know the hotel is dog friendly we don't like staying in a room where a dog has stayed.

Locate was beautiful. Accommodation very good.
Dislikes:
Only very small thing which is only personal, stairs to rooms were sometimes steep.

everything,there wasent anything we dident like,from the friendlist staff to the food and the service and the exellent rooms which had the best choice of teas,coffees and chocolate,you could ask for.
Dislikes:
no except we wished it was longer.
