Room has everything needed , Iron, well stocked Tea tray and bottled water, comfy Bed, TV, Internet access and a well appointed resteraunt with large and varied menu.
Good value as well.

A lovely comfortable bed, friendly welcome, great shower, one of the best cooked breakfasts ever.
Dislikes:
A beautiful but very cold stone bathroom floor!

Was a bit disappointed with the reception I got, not too friendly and asked to pay bill in full straightaway and had not even been to room. I know they were busy with Christmas lunches, when I asked just before 2.30 if we could still get a bowl of soup I was told they would have to ask the chef, everything seemed to be in a rush.Details like checking we had two bottles of water when we arrived when one had been left on the tray empty and I had to ask for one. Over a chat at breakfast next morning with the owner I felt more welcome, the staff were mostly pleasant and would try to please you. The room was warm and comfortable, shower and bathroom acceptable.
Dislikes:
Just the greeting we got on arrival and the rush for us to pay in full before we had been to room or had a meal.

We supply TWO soap dispensers in the bathroom.
Staff not required when we are closed.

The rooms are in a barn conversion next to the pub and are great value as is the breakfast.
Dislikes:
No the Jolly Drover is a great bed and breakfast.

We stayed at the Jolly Drover for two nights in October. The bedroom space itself was quite small, however, it had everything we needed. The bathroom was a wonderful size with a 'rain shower' type shower head and the best enclosure on the shower that I have ever seen. (We don't have those in the US.) The room was immaculately clean and the grounds were perfectly kept. The pub and the pub food were also very nice and the staff could not have been more helpful and courteous!!! Read less

Though it is a busy pub, and it's located on a busy street, the rooms were soundproof. Also, everything was new!!!
