The 'rock and roll' bed was very comfy,
Dislikes:
couple of things were missing,no coffee or sugar even though they are listed as being provided. Fridge did not work and the hook up lead was quite short so we had to change pitches on 2 sites.

The van was great fun, but the gearbox took some getting used to and reverse remained elusive. The interior of the van was great for sleeping 2 adults and a child and could have slept 4 adults.
Dislikes:
It was a shame we weren't shown the electric hook up point, and as first-timers we didn't find it (in the engine compartment) and the fridge didn't work anyway! The gearbox was tricky.

The whole experiance was very enjoyable and the age of the camper van definately added to the enjoyment of our adventure.We laughed a lot and had a great time.
Dislikes:
The bed was a bit uncomfortable but it is an old Camper van after all !

This is the second time we have hired a camper from Classic Campervan Hire. This time we hired the lovely Ringo. We took him up to Camperjam 2012 in Shropshire and he ran like a dream. He managed to battle his way through extremely rainy conditions on the way up and the muddy fields when we got there! He served us proud. It was a birthday present for me. My fiancé arranged the break for me as a secret surprise. I have loved camper vans for years and have never even been in one. My favourite place is Newquay and this is where we stayed. I can not believe I have been at fistral beach parked up in a vw camper van watching the sea and surfers. We didnt get the weather we had hoped for but nothing could dampen the joy. On a serious note, the van was very reliable and able to climb hills if in second gear! Read less

I was in a vw camper van with my fiance driving it around Newquay. A dream come true. The van was amazing, warm, dry and so cool.

We really enjoyed our stay the only drawback was that the van was very cold could do with some insallation which would make it a little more comfortable to sleep in.
