van was early 1970's but was still in need of a little TLC.Didnt take away from the experience though and will definitely be doing it again.

Glad you had a great time!! Sorry for the 10.00am return time, this is so we have time to clean the vans for the next arrival at 2.00pm... EVERYONE wants to collect early and return late but it doesnt work when the vans are returned and going back out on the same day and they need cleaning and engine checks. Once again, thanks for hiring one of our classic campervans and hope the early return was not too much of an issue :o)

Freedom to roam about in Cornwall in a classic VW Campervan. Lots of admiring glances and waves.
Dislikes:
It would have been good if there had been an 'Info' pack forScarlett, basic things like which key operates which door, which doors did or did not work. Where to find the electric trip switch. Etc

I am sorry you thought the interior could be better refurbished, all our vans have original 30-40 year old interiors and are well looked after. All the vans are cleaned to a high standard and are checked before going out on hire. Thankyou for your comments, we will try and make sure that our cleaning routine in double checked in the future. Hi, I am really sorry to see that you marked us down quite so heavily for your stay in our vans. Our vans are clean and very well equipped and our staff are polite and very knowledgeable. We apologised at the time for the fridge and the radiator and will do again now. Our classic vans are all 35+ years old and have the original 35+ year old interiors, as a result some of the equipment may not work as well as the modern equivalent. Sorry once again. Classic Campervan Hire Team.

Barney was comfortable and the ideal size for the two of us, given the wet weather. It was a bonus being able to pull up at the side of the road withot getting wet.
