A hot bubble bath after a long day's walk.
Very friendly couple with lots of walking suggestions for the future. Its very nice to stay with hosts who share the same hobbies.
Dislikes:
It was a mile out from the Canal, which isn't ideal with tired legs.

Two day stay for work and I was feeling under the weather, so it was very pleasant to be greeted with such friendliness. The room was comfortable and well equipped and although the bathroom was separate it was still quite private, with a morning paper in the sitting room as well! The breafast choice was superb and the hot dishes very nicely cooked. I would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay for work or, even better, for a holiday! Read less

My friend and I meet up twice every year (we live in different cities and both have young children with complex needs)& decided on Devizes as it is about half way between us. We had a great time (despite the weather!) and went running, walking (9 miles), kayaking and sight seeing. Southdown B & B is lovely,clean,quiet in beautiful countryside, walking distance to Devizes. Sue & Martyn very helpful and friendly,lending maps, giving advice on walks, restaurants and even helping pump up car tyres! Read less

Breakfast is 5 star with really fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and choice of cooked breakfast. We'll definitely be going back and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Sue & Martyn.
