Had a lovely stay in Torquay, 3 nights at Hotel Peppers which is brilliantly situated right in the centre of town. Bowling Alley just opposite which we thought was very handy and Hennesy's cocktail lounge literally just down the road.
Hotel Peppers is more of an upmarket guest house, beautifully clean with a delicious more than adequate breakfast..would definitely stay again Read less

Lovely to get away from the daily grind. Myself and my husband Jon go away quite frequently and particularly like Torquay. We liked our room and our breakfast and the location
Dislikes:
Not really, but bed was a bit squeaky ;)

We liked the room very comfortable and clean the breakfast on offer was first class. The location of the hotel to the town centre and harbour was only metres away.The service of staff was excellent.
Dislikes:
I dont think there was.

Myself and my partner arrived friday lunchtime to a very warm welcome, Gary and Viv were friendly and helpful in all aspects of hospitality. we were helped with our luggage to the room and the room itself was spotless, clean, beautiful, just perfect in every way. they were helpful when giving information of local sights and attractions. the breakfast was great, a wide selection and all brilliant. in overall this was the first time we had stayed in Hotel Peppers and i'm sure we'll be back. 5* :) Read less

The hotel was in a very good, central location, close to all amenities.
Dislikes:
Unfortunately the toilet water tank from the next bedroom was situated next to the bedroom wall. Therefore, we did not get much sleep due to the guests constantly flushing the toilet through the night

The couple who run the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful.
The beds were very comfy and the bathrooms very clean and modern.
All bars, restaurants, shops in Torquay are walking distance.
Dislikes:
Only minor criticism was the car park was not directly next to the hotel and you had to drive up a steep crumbling road to get there.

Arrived at Hotel Peppers late afternoon to a lovely warm welcome, and was showed around the hotel. The room was a lovely big size, fresh and clean with all we could possibly need. Excellent stay. Only a 5 minute walk away from the town centre and harbour. Great parking facilities. Excellent breakfast cooked fresh every morning to your specific requirment.
Dislikes:
The only down side was that the bathroom was on the small side, but seen as we only stayed for 3 nights it was alright for what we needed.
