"One night stay on a lovely farm"
A single night stop on a 'tour' of north England and the Scottish Borders. A delight to sleep in a building with character oozing out of the stone walls. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. I missed on the cooked breakfast as I had to leave early to arrange for our car to be repaired, but the others enjoyed it. Elizabeth helped with information and further accommodation offers when our clutch failed, and also called when my parents left coats in the wardrobe. Read less

Friendly, welcoming and helpful. The guest sitting room and selection of books was a nice touch.

The signage from the road was a little difficult to spot on a dark, wet, blustery winter's night!
Response from Rye Hill Farm:
Thank you for your kind review. I do hope that your family's tour of the UK over the holiday period was not too effected by the blustery weather!
