The room had a strong smell of bleach and de-humidifier suggested to us the room was damp.

I stayed at the Lyme Bay House Hotel on June 2012 and found that evern though the weather was not the best outside the welcome from the staff and owners of the Hotel was second to none. Really nice room and good sized portion of locally sourced breakfast. The hotel was close to the centre of town and great for eating out. Read less

The breakfast was great the rooms was well fitted out and immaculately clean. Very friendly welcome and good local knowledge helped to make my short stay even better.

The frendliness of both Nikki and Ian, who took time for a chat and made us feel at ease. The room was well presented, clean and with the facilities you need for a short stay. Breakfast was wonderfull

Sorry about the weather but it is getting better now that we are approaching March and Dawlish's "micro-climate" is usually much better than the forecast for the South West as a whole.
