Very good to begin with. Was a bit distressed that we could not collect our bags whenever we could. We left our bags there while we went to the graduation on the Hoe and the Staff member said there was always someone in, but when we rang phone and knocked on door we could not collect our bags. Luckily a guest who had a key let us in. Other than that very pleasant and quiet xx Read less

was opposite the Hoe for the graduation and the staff were friendly. Restaurants and takeaways nearby were fabulous xx
Dislikes:
the duvet was too small for the bed.
Would recommend this guest house for an overnight stay only xx

The location - directly opposite the event we were to attend. There was good parking very close by and we benefited from an all-day parking permit purchased from the hotel.
Dislikes:
We all slept badly due to dreadful beds. Rooms were grubby, unattractive, poor DIY. Breakfast was inadequate except for the grease.

The mattresses were in need of replacement as they didn't stop pinging all night. We were on the ground floor so very noisy. The rooms smelt of smoke. I'm an ex smoker so didn't bother me too much but a non smoker wud not like. Rooms are quite dirty and neglected. Not happy it was advertised as a 4 star when it is a 2 star. I'm glad I brought my sleeping bag wiv me. Read less

We had wi fi which was good and parking was cheap.
Dislikes:
Rooms were dirty and items were in need of repair or replacement. Did not feel it was clean enought to a basic standard.

Everything was all right and nice, although the weather was very warm and sunny. Plymouth is so beautifull city with a great history and with a lot of jung and cheerfull people.

Staff were friendly and helpful but not too overbearing, the art of being there when you needed them but absent when you wanted peace.
