We stayed just for one night, thank goodness, having booked and paid for a room via paypal...on arrival they had no record of our booking - but found it when they checked. Our room was changed...an upgrade - except if that was an upgrade lord knows what the room would have been like. The bathroom was awful - a macerator chugging away when you showered. No hot water by 10pm.
Breakfast took 40 mins to get 2 poache4d eggs like bullets serve3d on a 3 inch square piece of soggy toast. Worse to come! Read less

We enjoyed a drink in the bar before being lead to our dinner table. Dinner was delicious and fresh. Then we had a wee dram in the bar after dinner and enjoyed chatting with other guests. We felt as if we were welcomed into someone's private home and wished we could have stayed more than one night ~ next time we will. Read less

Hotel: Good, would benefit from upgrade to rooms. Still very nice though.
Lodges: Excellent new builds opposite hotel, good wooden type lodges as well.
Beautilful Grounds.
Definitely stay again, for a longer period!!!! Read less

The service was exceptional, and the cooked breakfast was out of this world!
Dislikes:
A minor criticism would be the saniflo unit in the en suite, which was quite noisy. (Didn't really cause us a problem though.)
