Given a wonderful welcome and made to feel nothing was too much trouble. Lovely to walk into a warm bright house at the end of a days walking.

We arrived to a very friendly greeting. Having showed us our room Helen returned a few minutes later with a most welcome pot of tea. The room was spacious with the en suite with roll top bath felt luxurious! The communal sitting room and dining room were confortable too. All very tastefully decorated and homely! Breakfast was a perfect combination of healthy fresh fruit/yoghurt and naughty cooked breakfast. We had an amazing stay and even borrowed 2 of Helen's dogs for our walk to Woolacombe. Read less

The steep driveway wasn't ideal but not a big issue for us.

The house has been restored to a good standard with lots of interesting features. The beds were comfy and there were good facilities. Very tasty breakfast.
Dislikes:
Breakfast Room is a bit cramped. Electric showers.

Matthew I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Westwood . Of our 5 rooms we have 2 power showers,2 electric a d one runs from the mains. This ensures plenty of hot water for everyone. We spent 2 nights over New Year at Westwood and could not have picked better accommodation. Helen is very friendly and helpful but in a discreet way, always there but not in your face! Our room was extremely comfortable with great views of ilfracombe and every home comfort from iPod docking station to cafetiere. Read less

Great breakfast, lounge available if you wanted to stay in and relax and very friendly host.
Dislikes:
Access and parking very steep and a little awkward but it wouldn't put me off staying there again, just something to be aware of.
