On a point of detail I can now inform you that the room you used during your stay has recently beeen refurbished with new lighting, furniture, carpet and bathroom. This was the last of our four rooms to be re furbished. Should you stay again we hope our redecoration and refurbishment would improve the room rating and add to your enjoyment. warm welcome from the owner, Tony. nothing was too much trouble, for him or any of the staff. the inn is gorgeous, and was very impressed by such high standards in the rooms and restaurant, and so reasonably priced. it was like going to stay with a favorite uncle, who knew the answers to anything you asked, and can give you local tips to make your stay easier, and more enjoyable!
nice to know it is dog friendly too, kennel and field at the back, n dogs allowed in one of the rooms. Read less

Thank you for staying with us and submiting your review. I am sorry I have taken a while to respond. As at 01/11/11 our check in time, without prior arrangement has been moved to 17.30. As always we are happy to check guests in earlier by prior arrangement. Again I am sorry to have taken so long to submit a response, but I promise it is not prompted now by City being at the top of the Premiership,or 5 points clear. Neithere is it prompted by the 1-6 drubbing of Man Utd at Old Trafford!
