Dislikes:
We were slightly dissapointed with the room compared to what we had before as it was two single beds pushed together and I had to use the duvet cover for us to sleep on to make it comfortable for us.

The hotel is very easy to find despite being off the beaten track. The style is slightly traditional for my tast but is very clean, well fitted out and comes with all the facilities you would expect. The evening meal was excellent, both in terms of quality and value for money. The four poster bed was simply the most comfortable I have ever slept in - almost womb-like"! The scenery over Loch Ness was stunning. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book again if I were in the area. Read less

We were made to feel right at home as soon we got there felt very welcome. Food was excellent. Great value for money. And the location perfect. Read less

The Falls of Foyer are nearby and stunningly beautiful, we were able to travel to various locations easily, the staff were friendly and the locality was quiet which suited us as we were really tired at the end of each day from walking and climbing to access the various areas of interest. The setting, the weather which was dry albeit chilly which helped substantially when accessing waterfalls via strep paths and steps. The locals were charming and generally we felt welcome.
Dislikes:
No, but in lessessentials rather waterproof hiking clothes are essential and hire a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Our Toyota Aygo would not have coped with the steep incline to access the hotel thru ice.
