Service and meals were very good. Standards kept up thro'out stay. Generous supply of everything. Very friendly owners.All the services of much larger hotels but with individual attention.

central location, very friendly staff, great breakfast!
Dislikes:
not the hotel's fault, but having no mobile phone reception was a bit inconvenient as we could not make contact with our friends in neraby hotels.

It was nice to see guests coming for a wedding enjoying the rest of what exmoor has to offer. So many dont stay long enough to enjoy the area

Very uncomfortable pillows & shower could be improved.

The feeling of great peace, loved the gardens, and inside it was comfortable and homely. The staff were most friendly and had good local knowledge.
Dislikes:
maybe I would have prefered to have a simpler shower or a bath.

Lovely gardens. Lovely room. Friendly proprietors. Good breakfast. Good night sleep.
Dislikes:
The shower was very low pressure. Did not effect my stay tho.
