We stayed in the Bramblecoombe Cottage for 7 nights & we were delighted on our arrieval with a very friendly greeting and kindly shown around the cottage. It was wounderful to see such lovely surroundings and views and we know we were going to enjoy our stay. Well' we were not disapointed I experince was one we will rememeber, having everything one needs provided in the cottage & in top condition making out stay so very comfortable. The area around the cottage was also lovely with ample room. Read less

The wounderful cottage position views with the added benefit of the Hotel facelities used once for Dinner which was dielightful due to having already made plans but would of used them more next time.
Dislikes:
Never had any thing that we could posibly complain about our stay was lovely and will be placed in our diary for a future return one day!

Relaxed atmosphere in a friendly high quality hotel.
Dislikes:
A few things didn't work such as radiator in two rooms but it didn't spoil our stay.

There is a short walk into town part of which has no pavement, and involves crossing a junction. In the dark in particular this felt somewhat perilous!

The scrumptious 4 course prix fixe dinner was a great value. Every member of the staff went out of their way to give Barclay House a friendly,inviting, jovial and helpful atmosphere for guests.
