We stayed for three nights, once in the door you immediatley felt at home.The friendly greeting, pot of tea even chocolate and water in the fridge.The breakfast choice was excellent.The room spacious.We couldnt find a thing wrong with Spire Cottage.The location was very good convenient access to many places even a bus every 15 minutes into Chichester which took away the stress of parking etc.We would certainly stay here again should we revisit the area. Good location just out of town down a lane so very quiet and no road noise, had an excellent meal at the Blacksmith Arms. Great b'fast with lots of choice and all very fresh.

The room itself was fashionably decorated and had a nice warm atmosphere, clean tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was home cooked and offered in various ways. Guests could help themselves to yoghurt, fresh fruit and cereal. It was fantastic, best we ever had.

Our stay was wonderful - friendly hostess, who gave us time in explaining what was to hand - welcoming spotless room that included little personal touches which were well thought out - lovely quiet area with a nice rural view - breakfast was heavenly, beautifully cooked, plus lots of variety if you didn't want a cooked breakfast. My only regret was that I would have liked to have stayed longer and enjoyed this wonderful ambience, and congenial hostess and her idyllic home. Read less
