Good location just out of town down a lane so very quiet and no road noise, had an excellent meal at the Blacksmith Arms. Great b'fast with lots of choice and all very fresh.

Last minute decision to book a B&B turned into a very very nice stay at Spire Cottage situated just outside Chichester down a quite lane. We were warmly greeted by Jan who showed us to our room which had views over the surrounding fields. The room itself was fashionably decorated and had a nice warm atmosphere, clean tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was home cooked and offered in various ways. Guests could help themselves to yoghurt, fresh fruit and cereal. It was fantastic, best we ever had.

Our stay was wonderful - friendly hostess, who gave us time in explaining what was to hand - welcoming spotless room that included little personal touches which were well thought out - lovely quiet area with a nice rural view - breakfast was heavenly, beautifully cooked, plus lots of variety if you didn't want a cooked breakfast. My only regret was that I would have liked to have stayed longer and enjoyed this wonderful ambience, and congenial hostess and her idyllic home. Read less

For us, the important part was the ease of access to our friends (muy husband was transporting the bride to her wedding), but the beds were comfortable and our stay was quiet and peaceful.
