Vegetarian dietary needs accommodated. Quaint olde worlde accommodation.
Dislikes:
Shower cubicle rather small - bathroom huge and a double shower cubicle in a romantic fourposter room would be good.

So glad you enjoyed the break. Double shower suggestion noted! We can always accomodate vegetarian diets and will provide meals to almost any dietary requirement with advance notice. Our on-site baker, Montgomery Real Bread produces an excelent gluten free loaf.

Dislikes:
A bit scuffed in places, but this is an old Inn so expect staircases and no lifts. Pricing is very competitive and the village square is a delight.

Some of our rooms have walk in showers, where possible the baths have a shower over them but occasionally the nature of the wall - hidden wattle and daub, or a sloping ceiling makes it impossible so we provide a plumbed handheld mixer as the next best thing.

We liked the character and position of the hotel together with the food, service and the informality/ atmosphere of the bar. Our room had a lovely view into the town square and beyond.
Dislikes:
If anything, the staff were a little too attentive at dinner checking if everything was alright more than was necessary.

The historical aspect, the little touches that you don't get in "chains", the feeling that the Dragon was part of the community.
Dislikes:
No, everything needed was there, remember though this is an historical property not some "mod con prefab"

The overall quality, the excellent food and the extra touches, like the sherry in the room. We stay at many hotels, often of a higher star rating and this one was on a par with the best.
Dislikes:
No. It is an historic building and clearly has a different character than modern boutique style hotels. This was part of the charm.
