The Mermaid has 31 bedrooms all of which are completely different. There are 8 four-poster bedded rooms (some with secret passages), large family rooms sleeping up to 5 guests and a selection of double, twin and single rooms. All rooms are ensuite and several have their own resident ghost! In the other bedrooms, the story is repeated fine panelling, Caen stone fireplaces and latticed windows. The second-storey rooms are particularly intriguing with the curved timber supporting the ceilings.

The Elizabethan Chamber, a large panelled room with a magnificent carved four-poster bed, it is our most requested room for the true romantics, with a luxurious four-poster bed. Included in this room is TV, WiFi, complementary toiletries, hairdryer and tea & coffee tray.
