Lovely quiet location, excellent room, lovely bathroom, friendly hosts and above all excellent evening meal at an excellent price. Didn't need to use car or laptop/ tablet. A real break!!!

We overnighted at the Clontarf Hotel on our way from Holyhead to the Lakes. Despite getting in rather late in the evening, we had a warm reception and the service continued to be very friendly. Our room was decently sized and nicely furnished, with a lovely ocean view. Breakfast was delicious, as well. Recommended. Read less

could just see a bit of the sea. The bed was very very comfortable and it was lovely to have a sofa to sit and read on. The en suite was great too and I enjoyed a long soak in the slipper bath especially now we only have a shower at home! Walking along the West shore is very relaxi Read less

We were able to book an evening meal on the day we arrived which was excellent as was breakfast. There were other guests coming and going but we never heard any annoying noise from fellow guests.
