Good breakfast, comfortable bed. Freeview TV was very useful for morning and night to catch up on the Olympics!

"Long weekend break"
We were very well accommodated from the moment we got there. Checked in early which was great as we're could go and meet up with family.

A very nice experience, right by the town centre and beach.
Breakfast was very nice, really liked the pre ordering service as it was ready within 5 minuets of sitting down.
Dislikes:
The only thing that was a little bit of a pain was parking as it was the carnival week so very busy. It's something that is mentioned on the bed and breakfast website but it wouldn't put us off going.

Stayed at Clare House over Swanage Carnival Weekend. Our hosts were concerned that the road may be a little noisy due to the extra visitors, but have to say we didn't notice any excess noise. The location is in fact great, being just off the main road. We were warmly greeted by Alan and met Diane the following day. They are excellent hoteliers. The breakfast menu is amazing. We have already recommended Clare House and Swanage to friends and relatives and will definitely visit again :-) Read less

It was in our favourite place in the UK, with perfect weather, and with some friends staying at Harman's Cross for the week. As a bonus, we got to see and touch an Olympic torch!
Dislikes:
The only downside was the lack of dedicated parking - you took a chance on whether there was a vacant space on the steep hill, and if not, had to pay to park in the council car park

Good clean place offering high quality standard accommodation so close to the beach and town.
Dislikes:
The arguing and shouting of the passing late night drinkers/ clubbers kept us awake part of the last night of our stay.This requires a solution as it could ruin a good stay at this excellent venue.

Myself and my boyfriend wanted to go away for a few nights and were unsure of where to stay.. When we saw Clare guest house we didn't really know what to expect. Well what a find, we had a fabulous time!! Staff were so lovely and the breakfast every morning was delicious. Location was perfect! The stay really made our holiday and we can't wait to come again! Soon hopefully! 100% reccomend! Everything about it was great. Read less

We liked everything! Breakfast, cleanliness of the house, staff so welcoming,perfect location.
Dislikes:
The only thing we would say was a bit of a pain was the shower. Temperature was either hot or cold. Maybe it was just us though.
