A great atmosphere and made to feel very welcome , a perfect location. A breakfast to die for and very comfortable accommodation including an extra king size bed.

The owners were both very pleasant, the breakfasts lovely and the room not only looked good but had everything we needed.
Dislikes:
We had to park the car quite a long way up the hill on street - there is no car parking at Clare House.

I am so sorry about the parking, very few of the guest houses in the centre of town have private parking its the price we pay for being so close to the sea, shops restaurants etc. Even although it was a bank holiday weekend, and we are such a small town you were able to park on our street with no restrictions or charges. I do hope we will see you again soon.

We had a fantastic stay at Clare House. The location was perfect for the shops, restaurants and the beach. Our room was clean, large and spacious and had more than adequate facilities. The guest house itself was immaculate and the owners were very welcoming and happy to help. The breakfast was also fantastic, a good variety on offer and the staff were helpful and polite. Read less

Arriving at Clare house we had a warm welcome despite our walking atire. Clare house is run to perfection, providing everything that we needed, including a great breakfast to set us up for the day.

Friendly and comfortable. Good hot breakfast. Comfortable bed and sitting area. Available coffee in room.
Dislikes:
Cupboard for hanging clothes was rather small. Parking (street) was hit and miss in the sense that sometimes a long walk was required to/from the car.
