Ridgeland was our first B & B on a holiday in the United Kingdom. We felt welcome and very comfortable. In doing my family genealogy, Motherwell was ideally situated for researching local history and had convenient access to the motorway to Edinburgh, yet was far enough out of town to be quiet. Margaret and Jim were very pleasant and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that plans a stay in the area. Read less

Ridgeland House overlooks the village of Hareshaw in North Lanarkshire. Situated within the grounds of Lanridge Farm, it is 40 minutes from Edinburgh and Stirling and 30 minutes from Glasgow.
Golfers can find a variety of courses nearby including Drumpellier, Airdrie, Easter Moffat and Shotts.
We are located within 5 minutes of Eurocentral Business Park, 25 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 20 minutes from Clyde valley garden centres and New Lanark Heritage Centre.
