The Peacock is a traditional, friendly pub situated in picturesque Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park.
We offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation and have five bedrooms each with en-suite bath or shower, washbasin and WC, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and radios.

Our bar is a great meeting place and we have a comfortably furnished dining area offering varied menu with a wide range of specials. The many attractions of the Peak District are within easy reach, as is Alton Towers.
The peacock extends a very warm welcome to all its guests - many of whom return year after year to explore the surrounding countryside.
Your hosts at the peacock are Victoria Siddall and Graham Webb, who have recently taken over the ownership of the pub. Victoria hails from Sheffield and prior to coming to Bakewell, Victoria ran a series of clothes shops in her home town; graham was a successful rock promoter and developer.
We have a traditional bar with fireplaces and no distractions - a great meeting place for visitors and locals alike or just a nice place for a quiet drink.
