Lovely location. Rooms light and airy.
Dislikes:
Bar person unfriendly. Breakfast poor. Allergic reaction to large dog in bar.
Response from The Boatside Inn:
I am sorry you did not enjoy your breakfast. We endevour to please all customers. If there was an issue I am sure we could have resolved it. As far as the bar is concerned we allow dogs in the bar area, however if you have an issue the dogs are not allowed restaurant. We advertise that the dogs are welcome. I am sorry you are allergic to them. With regards to an unfriendly bar staff this is very unusual as we normally get extremely good comments about the staff. I will address this.

Guest Reviews

Overall rating: 4.8 out of 5
We had a two bed room in a seperate building opposite the pub. Very quiet lovely surroundings with the north Tyne over the road.
The pub is very friendly lots of locals to chat to and get advice from about walks in the area.
The room has every facility TV alarm radio, hairdryer very comfortable beds bedding and pillows everything was spotless. Country styling rather than modern.
A totally perfect place to relax but so near the fast road A69 to whisk you off to great locations.
