Room was well appointed - thanks for large cups & saucers & kettle. Lovely to return every night to hot chocolate. Beds & towels were clean; tasty breakfast & away from actual noise of the pub
Dislikes:
We would have loved to have wi-fi in the room; everything else was great.

Leicester city centre is just ten minutes drive away with the leicester tourist information providing information on local attractioins such as the Wigston knitting museum, Foxton Locks and the Grand Union Canal, along with the National Space Centre - all within easy reach.
All rooms are ensuite and consist of five twin rooms, one double room and one family room with a maximum occupancy of three people. All rooms also have tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, colour television & freeview, hairdryers, trouser presses and all rooms are non smoking. The annexe for the rooms is a new construction and all the rooms are brand new in August 2004 and these rooms have been designed with the comfort of the guest as our foremost consideration.
Sunday lunch at the Plough at Wigston is extremely popular, with starters at £2.95 a traditional homecooked main for £5.95 and a selection of dessert available for only £2.95 [served 12pm - 4pm only] bookings for lunch are recommended. Disabled access is available and coach parties are very welcome by prior arrangement.
