The Hotel was close to the railway station and s short walk from the town centre.
Dislikes:
The water board were working on the nearby Shell Station all night. No falut of the hotel. The decor was in need of some refurbishment, but it was clean.

Dislikes:
Cleanliness of room with a stale smell. Very cold no heating. Didnt understand why we were on top floor with no lift when hotel was not busy. breakfast for a sunday was too early. 7 till 9.

Welcome to The Station Inn, Hexham. We offer accommodation and food combined with excellent value for all our guests. We are situated only 200 metres from the station and four minutes' leisurely stroll from the heart of Hexham town.
Hexham is a thriving market town, only a few minutes drive from the lovely Northumbrian countryside and attractions such as Hadrian's Wall. It provides an excellent base for any visitor to the North of England with easy access to towns and cities such as Carlisle, Newcastle, Gateshead and Durham. Or if you prefer to escape to the wide open spaces, we have some great walking, excellent cycling, superb fishing and lots of great things to do and see.
All rooms have been recently refurbished and all have the following facilities: en-suite bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, colour televisions, hairdryers, ironing facilities and a laundry service are available upon request.
