couldn't get a meal late on as roundtable meeting meant it was too busy, but, meant could explore royston a bit and had a nice indian so not such a problem.

The hotel was very friendly with comfortable atmosphere offering value for money, being neither pretentious nor shoddy.
Dislikes:
Short term only - unforwarned renovations were being carried out (scaffolding and carpark issues), but finished project promises to be in keeping with style of property.

no one had checked room on friday while we were out as there was no toilet paper on sat morning and no milk for coffee either.
checking out was a pain. 10mins looking for staff, found ONE. she said she had not worked the AM shift before and asked me if i knew how her laptop worked!
not great for 80+ a night. Read less
