The complete presentation was lovely. The decor was very good. The hotel was clean and tidy.
Dislikes:
The very in your face service with dinner in the dining room. The room was very olde worlde which was ok. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. The mattress was so hard.

Welcome to the Hawick Mansfield House Hotel. We offer luxury en-suite accommodation, fine food, weddings, functions, event management, and much more in approximately ten acres of established grounds on the outskirts of Hawick, the largest of the Scottish Border towns famous for the Common Riding, rugby and knitwear. The original house, which was built in the 1800's as a private residence, has been modernised to create a stylish and comfortable hotel.
Food is styled by our Head Chef and his team providing an ever-changing mix of traditional and modern using the best local suppliers. Informal dining is available in the hotel bar whilst the traditionally styled restaurant provides fine dining.
Our wine list offers value and quality from Europe and the New World. You will find the bar well stocked with malt whiskies, Belhaven Ales and lagers. During the summer months a different cask conditioned real ale is featured every week.
Hawick is a beautiful area, enjoyed each year by many visitors, whether experiencing their first time in the region or those who return every year.
Your stay in Hawick will suit the active as well as the less energetic. There are a range of activities and sports on the doorstep, walking and cycling routes, mountain biking, golf, fishing and horse riding.
